Morning tours

Brontë Parsonage Walking Tour and Talk

Brontë Parsonage Museum

This comprehensive tour of the Brontë Parsonage Museum includes a private talk, 45-minute guided walking tour of the grounds, and time for a self-guided museum tour. Though this event is free, please note that participants will need to travel to the Parsonage by train/bus or car.

An introduction to Leeds University Library Galleries

Every moment is truly unique at Leeds University Library Galleries – what will you discover?

Join us for a brief introduction to the university’s two galleries, situated at the heart of the University of Leeds.

Art connoisseur or lover of beautiful things? The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery will give you your cultural fix. With stunning examples of European and British paintings, drawings and prints from the 17th century to the present day on display, you can immerse yourself in this oasis of calm and take a mindful moment away from the bustle of life.

History buff or book worm? The Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery is for you! It is a place to share our curiosity about the world and the things that humans have thought, made and collected over time. On display is a selection of manuscripts, books, textiles, artworks and objects. They represent the diversity of material held in our collections and invite us to reflect on some of the most important issues of our time.

University of Leeds public art walking tour

Join us on a walk around the University of Leeds campus to explore its collection of public art. Enjoy a breath of fresh air, stretch your legs and take in the sights of the university. Learn some interesting facts about the artworks around campus, revisit familiar favourites and discover hidden gems. Works to see include Barbara Hepworth’s Dual Form and Hubert Dalwood’s Untitled Bas-Relief, along with works by Mitzi Cunliffe, Quentin Bell, Lorna Green and many more.

This is an outdoor tour – please be sure to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
