The 2025 International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Annual Conference will be held in Leeds, UK June 2–5, 2025, and will be hosted jointly by the University of Leeds and the IIIF Consortium.
This event is intended for a wide range of participants and interested parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums, cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations working with digital images and audio/visual materials.
In addition to the Conference, held June 3 and 4, the event includes a free Showcase on June 2. The Showcase is meant to introduce newcomers to IIIF, and those seeking to learn how IIIF is used in a variety of contexts. The conference features plenary presentations and sessions about IIIF implementations around the world, including cutting edge use cases and demonstrations.
This event is guided by the IIIF Code of Conduct. More information regarding travel and accommodations, the call for proposals, and registration will be forthcoming.

Registration
Registration is now open. Registration is $500 for non-members of the IIIF Consortium, $250 for member institutions, and $100 for students.

Travel Scholarship
In order to foster a conference environment that better reflects the diversity of the community, the IIIF Consortium is pleased to offer three travel scholarships to attend the Annual Conference. Learn more on the travel scholarship page.
Schedule
The conference will run between the Tuesday the 3th of June to Thursday the 5th of June. There will also be a showcase for people new to IIIF on Monday the 2nd of June.
Tours
The tours will take place on Thursday the 5th of June. You will need to sign up for a tour during registration for the IIIF conference.
